Cedar Key is an island fishing village to the west of Ocala on the Gulf of Mexico. For the most part it has withstood the ravages of time and modernization looks much like it did when we first visited the island in 1988.
This was cross-posted to Cedar Key (Florida) Photos.

Poor old thing... Lovely sky and ripples!
A lovely pic, Lowell! I'm still in shock about EG!
An idyllic day!
Nice to have some of "Old Florida" remaining.
Nice shot. Rickety is ok sometimes.

What a beautiful shot Lowell! Believe it or not I have never been to Cedar Key. I need to go.
I'm reeling. I didn't know about Tina until I'd read RedPat's comment above.
I also just learned about Tina and her husband. What a shock. I love this beautiful scene though. It's helping to calm my feelings regarding the passing of one of my favorite bloggers.
I'm seeing this on Friday morning. It is a peaceful scene and welcomed following what was a very sad day yesterday.
Magnifica esta bela fotografia.
Um abraço e bom fim de semana.

Beautiful panorama, Lowell !
It looks like a calm place, just right for a holiday.
What a serene scene, wonderful image.
A beautiful view for a great image!
Seen from the wider view, I am so convinced of the Honeymoon Cottage's rebuilding.
