The texture on the tree truck is fabulous in the photo! The gnawed entrance is probably those pesky squirrels breaking and entering. . . at least trying their darndest!

A construction site!
Birdhouse inspectors will have to be brought in to ensure it's up to code and the fire alarms are in good working order.
Improvements must be made! ;-0
This looks more like a squirrel tried to gnaw his way in.
We've had birds do this on one or two of our birdhouses. "Honey, can't we have a front door like the Smiths, over there?"
Makes you wonder..
The birds know what they need, and are not afraid to work toward their goals.
I think this is a bluebird house, but it looks like something else is trying to take it over!
Renovations are underway! :)
Looks like for size only for the time being, but someday…. The bark of the tree is so beautiful.
Thank you for your warm, kind, and encouraging words on my post as always. Have a nice May!

I would like to see one of these hardworking citizens :)
Good house found a small bird;)
Un abrazo.
It seems there are always a few renovations needed when you move into a new house. It looks like the birds are good at do-it-yourself.
Housing the way it is you have to take what you can get.
