All malls should provide comfortable couches so those of us who do not care for shopping can wait comfortably. Free beer would also be nice, but that might be expecting too much.
I bet he's happy too. I hate shopping and would be sitting there too but then again my wife hates shopping so we wouldn't even step a foot in to a shopping mall.

It's nice to have places for people to sit and relax, shoppers and/or faithful companions.

It give a different meaning to "being benched." No shame or frustration with just guy--just a certain resignation! Things could be worse!

That looks like a very comfortable spot for 'shopping widowers' to lounge. If only I had a nickel for every time I've encountered a a scene like this!
