More roll than rock

These animals are found in our local mall. They have wheels so that youngsters can straddle them and roll around a specific area. Getting onto them involves quite a bit of rocking, but they are mostly about rolling and look like a lot of fun.

I asked the guy running this operation if I could try riding one of them.  He mumbled something about me being older that Methuselah and how I'd probably fall off and break my neck!

I thought that was kind of rude, to say the least.

The theme for November is "Rock & Roll."  You can check out how other City Daily Photo bloggers interpreted the theme here.

Hey, if we put in our quarters we have every right to rock on. I'll take the yellow one. Blue one for you?

These do look like fun. Yes, the guy was rude. Pay no attention to him.

If you and Kay decide to roll away with those two sweet and cuddly toys, what is left for me? I need to rock 'n roll, too!!

Cute post for Theme Day Lowell! I probably would never be able to even get on one of those things myself, much less ride around on it.

I was in the Paradise Valley Mall about two years ago and saw these same "rolling" critters there for kids to ride. In fact, there were all kinds of kid related entertainment things in that mall. It made me think it was more like an amusement park than a shopping mall.

With an emphasis on the roll. :-)

What a cute ride! I would have enjoyed seeing you 'perched':) on that ride for your CDP theme day shot.

PS. When I was typing above comment and 'perched' appeared on the page, your book came to mind...which I did enjoy reading!

You tackled the theme with Lowell twist. Not bad at all.
