"Master, come quick!"

"I'm warning you, don't come any closer! I bite! I'll have to hurt you and I don't want to do that! My master is just getting the mail and he'll be right back!"

In the Trilogy community all mail is delivered to a central location where every resident has his/her or their own mailbox. It's a great system, because your mail is kept safe from the bad guys and from inclement weather. It's somewhat of a pain, because you have to go down to the Oak House every afternoon to get your mail. Most of the residents subscribe to a free service of the Post Office which provides an email showing scans of the mail you will be getting on any particular day. That's nice. And if all you see are advertisements, you can leave them until the next day! :)

Quite a few people throw their dog in their golf cart when they go get their mail, as per the above photo.

This guy doesn't look like he is going anywhere. He could probably give you a nip if you came near though!

Too funny! Another spoiled rotten cute dog. :) We have one down the street from us and every time I happen to go by, she has to put in an appearance and bark at me. Miss Marley is a terror but she lets my wife go by without a peep. My wife says she a smart dog. :)

I am not sure if this dog wanted to go for a ride.

We have the same mail thing here in our RV resort -- and just the same also about the dogs loving to ride in the golf carts. We have a mail forwarding service so we get most all of our snail mail in one envelope twice a month (have been doing that since we sold our home and started full time RVing in 2000. Family and a few friends have our address here but nobody writes letters any more (lucky to get the occasional text -- even email is too old fashioned for the grands!). anyway -- I sound like an old fogey. And am.

Interesting to see this golf cart comes with its own attack dog. Hope you had a long lens to take this picture.

Plus, your mail doesn't stack up if you are away. This dog looks feisty.

What a cutie! Sounds like a good system. I have had a box at the Post Office for years and only check my mail about once a week. I have almost all of my important bills, statements, etc. delivered electronically by email, so I mostly just get junk mail there anyway. I started using it when the mailbox at my house kept getting vandalized by local kids.

He looks like he's trying very hard to look fierce. We have a similar arrangement where I live. One guy told me he only picks up his mail once a week. With all the stupid advertising we get, I'm not sure how his box can last a whole week. The funny thing is, when I get the mail I usually toss all of it but maybe one piece before I even leave the mail area.
