One donkey and 2 jealous thoroughbreds

These photos were was taken yesterday afternoon at a small horse farm north of Ocala. The donkey/burro came up to the fence where I was standing and waited to be petted. The thoroughbreds watched carefully and then, appearing jealous, moved over to run off the donkey. The donkey wanted no part of them and left quickly.

Poor guy looks old. Hope he has some friends. Horses can be that way.

I have not seen a donkey with this much color. He looks sort of cute and I have never before thought of a donkey as cute. I also liked your photo of the lazy horses. It is always surprising to see horses lie down. I am glad you liekd the Native American hoop dancer series on my website. It was an interesting event.

I love it when donkeys do "airplane ears" like that. Nice one.
