Dancing at Silver Springs Park

Every fall, Octoberfest is celebrated at Silver Springs Park. A number of attendees dress in the costumes of their homelands; a band plays the right kind of music; and
there's lots of beer and lots of fun. We took this photo of these two kids dancing up a storm last October.

With such a decisive look they could have danced all the way to Christmas.

@ Vogon Poet... I don't know. Are you old enough to drink? If not, are you old enough to dance? If the latter, yes. If the first, Yes.

I guess the answer is toddlers like you are welcome!

Certaintly not how I had pictured Florida. I love CDQ's comment. I really like people in action photos like this, especially if they don't know you are taking the picture.

Aren't your stockings a bit snug on the leg Jacob? Kick up those heels and live a little. Great capture. Fun!

Looks like fun--hope I can do it when I'm that age in a year or two.

@ Hey Frank, you're a funny guy! Actually, they were a big snug!

I tried to kick up my heels and that's when I fell head over heels!

What time of day was this taken?...
I see a lot of concentration...not due to a little bit too much of a drink!!!!
Who cares! they are having a great time ...
Hope I can do that when I reach that age!

Lowell said...

@ Marie-Noyale - It was late in the afternoon...they may have imbibed a bit, but I think they were concentrating, trying to get the moves right...

"Dancing up a storm", I haven't heard that in years. Thanks!
