I really like the colour of this geranium. I should look for this shade for some of my planters.

@ PJ - Spring is over! It's been in the 90's every day for a week! Yikes!

What colors and light, you inspired me. I have to ask my neighbor, she has lovely geraniums.

@ Small City Scene - Yep, spring is done here. When we got home from Disney on Sunday it was 97 degrees in Ocala! Aargh!

Bright red and lovely! Spring has just sprung here in the northland. The iris are just blooming, the apple and cherry trees are in full bloom.

Oh that's beautiful, and this has a real olde worlde picture postcard quality about it somehow. Lovely.

(of course, all the best blogs have flower close-ups today ;) ).

@ Jackie - I like that "best blogs" bit! You're very astute and intelligent and observant!

@ Leif Hagen - I can understand cloudy, overcast, cold - spent many years in Minneapolis and environs! Lois Anne's from St. Louis Park.

I use a Nikon D300, with a D70 backup; Lois just got a D40 (which beats a D70, D60 or D80 all to pieces at half the price!)...

Jacob: Thanks for visiting my site and enjoying Bend, Oregon. Sorry no relation to anyone in Minneapolis. Amazing color and composition of the geraniums. I can almost smell them!

Wonderful close-up. I over-winter our geraniums in the basement and bring them out to the patio in late April. They are leafing out nicely now, although it will be awhile before they bloom.
