What do you know; two Florida CDP bloggers posted benches for the theme day. Great minds think alike!

Oh so empty! I guess that if it had been in the shade, it wouldn't have been so lonely!

I like the 'nailed down' part. Green emptiness, very nice bench for the Theme Day.

Interesting design,
but could not convenient to seats, and therefore empty ;-)

Empty of rear-ends it might be, but I do like how the bench fills up the image.
Nice shape and colour, Jacob.

Nailed down? Not something I would have thought you needed to do there!

I'm getting cross-eyed staring at those lines ;)

I was just watching Transformers on HBO... Just kept staring at the picture of this bench and imagined how it could transform into something else and just move... Nice shot!!

Great idea for this theme and I loved this different green bench!

This place seems more feasible to a solar panel than a bench seat. The shadow under the bench implies a hot day. No wonder the bench is empty. Happy theme day, Jacob!

That bench certaintly is empty, barren and forlorn. Nice shot. Oh yeah is sure is green too. MB

Looks like that would hurt my backside. Maybe thats why its empty.

Ah, the fabled green bench. There was a time that our city's neighbor across the bay, St. Petersburg, was widely known for its green bench and the retirees who spent their last days on them. I think they've beat that perception (what with the Grand Prix auto races, etc.) but now I know where they've shipped all the benches. EMPTY. Good shot.

Excellent Theme Day post Jacob! I can see why it would be empty since it would probably be too hot in that sun to sit there for long.

I like the shadows. My guess is that there have not been homeless people sleeping under newspapers on this bench.

It jumps right off the screen!

I've never seen a wire bench before. Practical, considering all the rain.

Beautiful color but not so comfortable looking!

Fabulous! I love benches!

It does seem to be begging someone to take a seat. ;-)

A metal bench in the hot Florida sun, just what a tired traveler needs:)

I had a fortune cookie that once said something about a green bench.

Lord yes, nail that sucker down so I won't confiscate it and put it in my living room. Empty for sure! HA

It certainly looks sturdy and fits the theme nicely for empty.

CONGRATULATIONS on your theme day photo, Jacob Meister! Great, green bench which seems sooo empty without bums sitting on it . . . .

Yup, good pic for the theme.
