Ocala Worship Center

I have no idea what kind of church this is. Appears to be an independent body and looks to have been around for some time. It is located in an older section of town, surrounded by medical office buildings, fast food joints and gas stations.

Well, you should go on in and ask Pastor Barney. He'd set you straight in more than one way.

I thought for a moment that the bird on the sign was an eagle, then identified it correctly (I hope) as a dove. Nice perspective on an quite odd building.

It looks very neat and tidy. Did you ask Pastor Barney what he's doing there? MB

no sheep in this picture?

Nice sign - doing double duty as a mailbox. Is this a multi-denomination church, or a specific faith? It seems that we have many "pentecostal" types popping up around here now, most taking over small buildings where businesses have failed. I guess the economy is pushing people to faith(?)

I like that it's called a worship center. That makes it seem very open!

I wonder,I am such a skeptic, how open their worship is ..

Lowell said...

I'm sure it is very open so long as you believe exactly as they do.

This shot is very interesting to me. The grass in the picture looks as if it could be around here where it is arid. It seems to be dry in places and not doing well. Nice simple building.

Re: Bagel & Ice Cream

How about a bagel ice cream sandwich after church on Sunday?

It looks pretty small I wonder how old it is.

I like the building, with the wooden cross against the plain white. One of those "does what it says on the tin" kind of places, I guess.

Hello dear friends Jacob and Lois Anne

Looks small for a church but it's nice!No matter where... what it is really important is what you have good and faithful inside the heart. ;)

Ah, that's where Barney McCranie ended up!

I'm sure it's "Wisconsin Synod!"

Lowell said...

@ Safe Leif - Either that, of sinners from Wisconsin! Or maybe Minnesota, even.

Of each and every picture by you, I've loved the compositions very much! Even this one's outstanding! I like the way the church building looks 2D and the perspective in which you've shot the board, adds the thirdd dimension! Nicely done!!
