Beautiful, very artistic and by all means very very creative picture! I'm still waiting for the day when I'll actually get my first ever DSLR and with a koOl lens I'll picture the moon... just like you did.... Nice effect too!
@ Vogon Poet...yes, I guess you could call it graphical art...it's very easy to do with Photoshop, though, as it's one of the shapes offered by that program.
No biggie, as they say, but I wanted to jazz up the photo of the moon...
I bet you're enjoying reactions to this photo. I think it requires a long stay in Cedar Key, copious amounts of fine wine (or beer) and a couple dozen fried shrimp -extra jumbo. Following that you'll recover from this Peter Max mind adventure and feel like yourself again.
That is a funky photo my friend. I love the yellow moon..... and since it was brought up a couple of posts back.... nothing wrong with the post processing at all. You made a great point that taking the photo was, in and of itself, a process.... photoshop is just a continuation.
In any event this is cool and I like the artistic flair from you lately. The "raven's in a tree" and this. They are really good change ups and fun to see.
Thanks, Dan...the only "post-processing" of the actual moon shot was a bit of sharpening and a hit on the contrast...the starburst is a very simply Photoshop "shape."

Belle composition !
I am not sure about this, is it some kind of graphical art?

I like what you've done here, Jacob! Very creative.
This is certainly a beautiful departure from your usual fare. Lovely and very well done.
W O W! What did you do? You really freaked out that moon - Looks like it went crazy! hehehe

Fun! I enjoy playing with photo shop also. This was an artistic idea.
How creative! I love it.
I agree. Not what we're used to seeing from you, but I do like it. What the heck, it's all about the fun isn't it?
Wow! I was not expecting this! It's super!
Very cool Jacob!
I keep trying to capture the moon, but so far...not much luck. It's a difficult subject, but you've done it well! Love the colour.

Wonderful capture! Makes me moonstruck! I like the shape, too.

Once in a yellow moon.
Very artsy-fartsy! (that's a compliment)
