Life is not a bed of roses - it's a bed of flowers!!! Great find. My father-in-laws wife has a really nice garden that she established in the heat and the clay soil in Pahrump, NV. She uses old bed posts from a local thrift shop for fences and supports.
I have the almost very same bed in my garden too. I got it free by the side of the road and then my daughter was at a garage sale and there was the same white bed there for free. It is about the size of a youth bed. I will have to post a picture. How cute I love it. MB
Very funny and very good commentary (?). Life is not a bed of roses or a "long quiet river" :-)) You found the bed of flowers, now we need the photo of the long quiet river
"Life is a long quiet river" is a very funny French film. http://uk.rottentomatoes.com/m/life_is_a_long_quiet_river/#
Did you come to Indiana to take this??? There was one just about like this not to far from here...I always meant to take a picture of it, but no place to park.
Hi Jacob, Rose is a wonderful blogger friend of mine and I saw your comment on her blog and came to see if it was what I thought. It was. I'm so glad I came on over. This is gorgeous. I've seen them in my area for years but never this lush. Lovely shot! Carletta’s Captures.
Great catch! This would make a great greeting card. It reminds me of a series of children's books: Amelia Bedelia (the maid who takes all her directions literally.)

Wow - when Lois Anne said that she wanted a "flower bed" in the back yard, you REALLY took that literally! I hope she likes her "flower bed," Jacob!

I love this. Perfect use of the old bed. I've seen several around our area here. There's really a variety growing in this one isn't there?
That is so cool! I love it. The only thing that could have made it better would be some birds and bees in the flower bed. ;-)
Ooooh , très beau ! On doit y faire de beaux rêves.
un lit pour fêter la Saint-Valentin...superbe

That's a lovely play on words brought to life!

Very clever comment for this unsual find!
Nice find! The person who made this was definitely taking "flower bed" literally. Sleep well, flowers!
Hee! That is too funny!!! Only in Ocala...
Now that's something I would have said. Wonderful! If I do say so, myself.
Jacob, a good pun.
An amazing shot. Thanks for sharing it.
How pretty and what a great idea!
That is a clever and fun way to use an old bed. Glad you found it for us.

I laughed out loud when I saw this photo. What a great sense of humor and a great capture on your part. Great colors here. All around great picture.
Still laughing. This one was really funny. :-)

Jacob, With your sense of humor, you seem like some one who would be great fun at parties. What a spectacular picture and cute comment.
Really interesting!
Very funny! I like the double curved bedstead in this setting. Nice!
You really nailed the title here.
It's a fun way to recycle old beds. ;-)
Sweet dreams - but then what's the point if you have to sleep on the rug next to the bed for fear of damaging it!
;-)

Brilliant! Someone takes some time to make that bed.
