Flower bed

Life is not a bed of roses. But sometimes one finds a bed of flowers.

Wow - when Lois Anne said that she wanted a "flower bed" in the back yard, you REALLY took that literally! I hope she likes her "flower bed," Jacob!

Life is not a bed of roses - it's a bed of flowers!!! Great find. My father-in-laws wife has a really nice garden that she established in the heat and the clay soil in Pahrump, NV. She uses old bed posts from a local thrift shop for fences and supports.

I love this. Perfect use of the old bed. I've seen several around our area here. There's really a variety growing in this one isn't there?

That is so cool! I love it. The only thing that could have made it better would be some birds and bees in the flower bed. ;-)

I have the almost very same bed in my garden too. I got it free by the side of the road and then my daughter was at a garage sale and there was the same white bed there for free. It is about the size of a youth bed. I will have to post a picture.
How cute I love it. MB

Very funny and very good commentary (?). Life is not a bed of roses or a "long quiet river" :-)) You found the bed of flowers, now we need the photo of the long quiet river

"Life is a long quiet river" is a very funny French film.

Nice find! The person who made this was definitely taking "flower bed" literally. Sleep well, flowers!

It's a fun way to recycle old beds. ;-)

Sweet dreams - but then what's the point if you have to sleep on the rug next to the bed for fear of damaging it!

Did you come to Indiana to take this??? There was one just about like this not to far from here...I always meant to take a picture of it, but no place to park.

Charlestonjoan said...

Brilliant! Someone takes some time to make that bed.

Hi Jacob,
Rose is a wonderful blogger friend of mine and I saw your comment on her blog and came to see if it was what I thought. It was. I'm so glad I came on over. This is gorgeous. I've seen them in my area for years but never this lush.
Lovely shot!

Great catch! This would make a great greeting card. It reminds me of a series of children's books: Amelia Bedelia (the maid who takes all her directions literally.)
