Party time

We're heading here tomorrow to purchase items for a granddaughter's baby shower. In this store you can buy just about anything you could possibly want related to any kind of party...including a wedding party!

Decorative junk, I call it. But then what do I know, being a male type person?

I'd probably agree!

I hate shopping and junk.

Nice capture! :-D

Do they sell party drinks there, too?

we have "Party City" here on LI. I think it must be the same thing, though your sign is more interesting to look at!

PS
that is funny, "...male type person" LOL.

When I was in high school back in the early 1980's the word party took on a whole new meaning. I'm going to guess that party animals don't hang out there. :-)

I kid! Congrats, and I'm sure you will find many wonderful items for this blessed event.

Beautiful sky by the way.

@ Safe Leif - Only to Minnesotans in need of a little inner heat!

That's one of those places where you see the over indulgent parents that spend five hundred dollars on their kid's first birthday, somehow thinking that they'll actually remember it. You get the grandpa pass though. ;-)

Agreed, even I'd call it the same. Decorative Junk... :)

Nice perspective on this shot and as always the colors look lovely!

I'm sure you could find something very cool and weird to dress up as. I dare you! :)

Who wants a sophisticated and elegant sign to a party shop? Very good shot!

We have ;Party Universe' here. Well not in Stanwood but in a closeby larger town.

Snohomish County (the county I live in) is called the 'Horse Capital of somewhere--I forgot. anyway because it supposedly has more horses per capita than anywhere else.---so put up you dukes and come out fighting. hahahaha!!!

sounds like fun, although it is great to make your own costume.

those places make me itch
I think I may be more male type than female

did you know there are dozens of ribbons appropriate for tying up favors in - why!! why!!

and don't get me started on "table decor"

but a new baby is cool, so very cool

What time do they open at?

Looks like a fun place to shop to me! That's a beautiful sky behind that colorful sign.

Lowell said...

@ Lee - Yes, it is nice to make your own costume...so I don't need places like this! In fact, people often ask me, after I've risen and dressed and gone out and about, "Hey, where'd you get that costume?"

What?

Small City Scenes said...

Yes I think it is funny when a place says we are----whatever----but the most horses patoots just might be the winner---oh nevermind MB

Lowell said...

@ Small City Scene - "patoots"? You're so funny!

Lowell said...

@ Tapirgal - people seldom use the word "cool" to describe how I dress. Weird? Yes, that's it! No need to buy a thing!

I had trouble leaving a comment on the bank yesterday..my laptop is ticky some days..way to go getting the attention of the bank CEO, tho LOL. Nice shot, the bank architecture is a bit too modern for my taste, but what do I know, I'm a country gal.

I tried to avoid these party stores when my boys were younger..if you save more on the party, you can spend more on the present. That was my thinking, anyway. :)

I hope you male type were treated to some candies at least... :)
God bless you!

Agreed. Decorative junk...... but I yoo am one of those male types with a lack of appreciation for it....

The capture however is very well done.

Well, Jacob, I agree that it's junk AFTER the party. But during the festivities it makes everything seem more, well...er...festive. ;-)

I love to scrounge around in these shops....

'Unforgetable' should have two t's. I always wonder how people can print signs that have words misspelled!

Lowell said...

@ Bibi - It's a sign of the time. U R rite!

This is a nice picture of junk!!!

Not my type of store to hang around in either. I bet you had an unforgettable time there and found some great buys. (;

@ Buenos Aires - My time there was excruciatingly forgettable! But my darling Lois Anne found several things useful so far her planning for a baby shower...so, it turned out an OK trip.
