McAlister's Deli

McAlister's Deli is relatively new to Ocala, having opened a few months ago in one of our new shopping areas. It offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and other accouterments. McAlister's is clean, comfy and the food is good. We have patronized the place on numerous occasions and would give it an "A" rating.

It does have a comfy look, and your nice crisp photos show it off well. Just for grins, I did a google search and was surprised to find out there are three of them in my area! I'll give one of them a try.

Boy, it does look nice. Isn't it great to find an establishment that just seems to get it right? I like the decor too.

Love both shots and I like the interior decoration (that horse...). What's on the menu?

Do they have chopped liver there?

Lowell said...

I don't think so...it's more of an eating place than a real deli...

Why do you ask? Who eats chopped liver? Yikes!

We agree..they are a very nice, clean and innovative chain. We found them a long time ago.

where are the people?!

Lowell said...

@ Magiceye - there are two other similar sections to the interior...but there weren't very man people there when I took these photos...I think it was before the normal dinnertime...

Good food has a lot going for it. Our delis are rarely eatries, which is probably the case there as well. Would have to say it has a 'generic' appearance but the +ve is you know what to expect!

We have a McAllisters too. It's always packed out at lunchtime. There are so many choices there, it's hard to choose! I like the loaded spuds.

You know, I can't do this kind of photography, I just don't have a feel for it but you do a splendid job.

It looks exactly like the one we have up here. That's the good (or bad) thing about chain restaurants.

Hey, looks like as if they have special Halloween seatings. To me, the backrests look somewhat like stretched bats, don't they? (;

@ Buenos Aires - At first, I thought you were going a little "batty," but after looking at the chairs again, I think you are right!
