Obviously there wouldn't be anyone to help the business of the funeral home at their own will :-|

The structures built in Ocala are always lovely! Nicely composed picture!

Ahahahahaha!!!

Nice looking place. I would like to have a house with a veranda like that. My house has a wraparound deck but it doesn't look like a porch or veranda.

I finally got to post some pictures but I had to do them one at a time. Otherwise blogger says--no can do!.

I hope you all are enjoying your week end. MB

That's not the kind of business I'd like to be involved with...
God bless you!

It's looks more like a saloon than a funeral home. But I have seen saloons only in movies, maybe they film those scenes in funeral homes...

So, because the economy is bad, their business is dead?

I'm not surprised you post a photo of a funeral home after yesterday's post! ;-) Much nicer than most over here.

There's so much symbolism in those second floor 'balcony windows' that go nowhere.

Reminds me of the funeral home in Hot Springs, AK take handled my mother-in-law's funeral

@ B Squared - Actually, I think the Bates Motel is down a block or so...they were busy remodeling the showers...

@ Ciel - Hadn't thought about that...no wonder I got a phone call from a heavy breather this morning whispering "Death becomes you..." ;-)

The ultimate destination for many. Looks so inviting but I shall decline

Hi there, regarding the Cascades and Seattle--well--the Cascade Range cut the state of Washington in half--from the Canada border into Oregon. Mts Baker, Rainier, Adams and St. Helens are all in the Cascades--pluss all the other mountains. So you could of been where I took pics or a lot of other places. You must get that brain working and REMEMBER!!! I understand it was a loooong time ago. At least you were somewhere I've never been anywhere.
PS. It's all here!! MB

I have always thought that this must be a good business. Although the obvious things in coming to terms with... definitely a steady flow of business!

Well I hope they aren't going to go out and try to "drum up" some business!

You make me laugh! ;-)

Would too much termite fumigation get me here faster?

Lowell said...

@ Frank - You betcha. Just breathe deeply!

Your commentary reminds me of the joke you left on my gardeners cemetery picture which I really enjoyed!

"Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again." — Henri Cartier-Bresson
