Three scenes from Sholom Park and the Kreativ Blogger Award

We have posted a few photos of Sholom Park previously. Sholom Park, just west of downtown Ocala, is a beautiful meditational park, designed and donated by a local developer. Much more information about this facility is available here.

Kreativ Blogger Award

Merci beaucoup to Nefertiti for this beautiful Kreativ Blogger award. Please check out her blog, Le Temple de Nefertiti, here and her other blog, Une photo un souvenir, here.

The color on that first one is stunning! The flowers here are starting to fade and the leaves are falling. Your pictures make me think of perpetual summer.

I took the link and checked out their website. That looks like a wonderful park. Nicely landscaped and maintained.
Congratulations to you both on the award. It is well deserved.

Congrats! Those little yellow and orange flowers (called oeillets d'Inde in French i.e. carnations of India) are amongst my favourite, even though they don't smell very nice. Gorgeous photo, lighting up my drab Sunday (yucky sky!)

Lovely park. What a nice thing for a developer to do. Not ther norm here.

Visited Florida once when I was younger. I still remember the beautiful gardens. Lovely photos.

The colors here are fantastic. Very bold and beautiful. We have not even hit November yet and already I long for these types of scenes.

The gated entrance is very inviting. I imagine you can sit and just relax and take in the beautiful landscaping. (And sneak a long cigar to clear the mind and soul.)

Congrats on your blogger award! Couldn't have happened to a sillier guy! Love the marigold photo! Is Sunday a "blog holiday" for you or are you busy pulling weeds again by your pool?
