Passage way for pedestrians, bikers, & golf carts

This passageway at Stone Creek leads to the golf course, to a fishing lake, to the tennis and pickleball and horseshoe courts, as well as the swimming pools, spa, fitness center, and Reunion Center.

@ BlossomFlowerGirl - it's just the way a digital camera will interpret the light at times...

You're out-done yourself this time. I like the overall look as well as the colors: the violet, the brown and (at the back) violet again!

Looks like a scene from a science fiction movie. The interior shadows are so interesting. Overall my favorite of your great passageway photos today.

I love the pattern that the tunnel's reinforcements make. And that fabulous purple light! Wonderful!

Don't you love those happy accidents with the color? Until I read your note, I assumed you knew what you were doing :-p I love the colors! The passageway looks useful and is a great pic for Theme Day!

Oh I love it! What a great tunnel or 'passageway'. I am impressed. Neat color too. MB

That violet steals the picture, a very nice entry.

Really nice, colors and all. For some reason, this passageway looks like its ceiling is lower than most; is that so?

it's a bit like a nightclub!

This color is amazing. Looks like it would work in a rain storm, too.

Looks like transition time, either dawn or dusk. Is it well used?

Lowell said...

@ Bibi - I think it looks that way because of the perspective; but it could be lower because it is used only by people walking/running, or on bikes or in golf carts...no cars or trucks!

this is fabulous Jacob. very cool effect and great find. did you use HDR for this effect? Super great choice. We just got back from Tanzania Africa so sorry we are behind on catching up on photos which we will be doing this week.

This passage leads to nearly everywhere one needs to be.

That is a very cool picture Jacob! I'm glad it is well lit, but I would still probably have to run through it to keep from getting claustrophobic.

A lovely shot, great perspective seeing the trees through the other end. Purple? Amazing it came out that colour.

This is a great passageway. I wish our town had these! We have to take our chances with the traffic and I have had some close calls with my bike. The blue color is lovely.

OMG Jacob, you're tunnel is EXACTLY like Leif's execpt that:
1. Your tunnel is nicer.
2. Your tunnel is lit up.
3. Your tunnel is not covered and surrounded by snow.
4. Your tunnel has nice plants on top.
5. Your tunnel does not have a really tacky chain link fence down the middle.
6. Your tunnel leads to a pool, spa and fitness center, not an art park. That's all I have to say about that...

Other than that, they are EXACTLY the same!!

Lowell said...

@ Allison - Heh, heh! As usual, you are very perceptive and have a delicious way with words! And, also as usual, you are exactly correct!

Have a great day up thar in ze northland!

Great shot, lovely blue colours, but kind of scary.

What an outstanding capture of light and tones. The mood is enhanced by the time of day the shot was captured.

EG CameraGirl said...

Interesting effect with the purple and green light. It makes the underside of the tunnel look quite golden.

Wonderful colours for a passageway to everything you need...!

Leif Hagen said...

I don't know what Allison was trying to say?? Our passageways are EXACTLY the same! Only mine is a little nicer!

I'm just glad I didn't have to remind you (pester) about theme day this time!

Great passageway. What the heck is pickleball?

Halcyon said...

Great passageway! I hope you are using it for golf. :)

Happy March! Hope spring is on his way.

Jim Klenke said...

I like the way the camera got the light, but where is the graffiti?

PJ said...

Boy, you really nailed this one. Is it HDR?

Leif Hagen said...

U R a piece of work!! A true "ding-a-ling!!" You made us laugh - that's an accomplishment for a guy of your seniority!

Ursel said...

I like the composition of colors and yes, the violet. The black trunk of trees at the end of the tunnel add to it.

Nice & very well lit! I wouldn't be scared to enter there at all!

Lisa Wilson said...

Good one!

Kate said...

How did I miss this one, a truly multi-purpose passageway!
