This is quite the colorful movie theater!

LOL on EG Wow...it does look a bit like a Lego structure.

Hollywood is what we call Lorelei when she has her shades on!

It does have the look of a sturdy toy, and the name plays along nicely. Given the price of movie tickets, you really could expect a bit more glamour, I think. :)

Fisher Price, Lego... Those were my first thoughts too! The building is quite nice so why those strange colours?!

Colossal--stupendous--outstanding. Is that Hollywood enough?
Kinda neat looking theatre. MB

Squeaky clean and new! Wow...Clash of the Titans in 3D!

Not sure we still have Hollywoods here. We used to go to one all the time a few years ago.

Is there a chain of Hollywood Cinemas or is this an independent movie house?

It looks very Floridian for Hollywood.

Wow ! Talk about a MEGA-Plex theater ! It looks huge!!! I like the new, modern theaters for movies. I love big screens and huge, complex audio systems. I love the way movies have transformed. Having said that..... I will ALWAY love the feel of an old historic movie theater. There are a few left around here. The Uptown theater, the Edina..... and a handful more exist... but they are becoming a rarity.

I agree, it looks like a toy! :-)

Isn't that nifty - You have Hollywood right there in Fla! heheheee

Now you have me confused. Does Hollywood have an Ocala Theater as well? If not, they should!

How very colourful! And it's really pretty against the blue sky.

Re ice cream: all I know is, the US makes the best ice cream I have ever tasted - so rich and creamy. However, when it comes to gelati - Italy still is the best. To me, the two are similar, but different :D

They forgot to take away the ladder!!

I agree with everyone — it look's like a toy!

I haven't seen a free-standing cinema in decades here. They're all in malls now.

Love all these colors - cheerful surroundings make life nicer.

VP and Ceil, LOL! I would have to get past that facade before I could even think of concentrating on a movie. Thanks, Ciel, I didn't even notice the building had a nice design. I have to be rude. I - hate - this!

Hmmm. I think attitude is everything. I'm looking at it again on a rainy day in Astoria and it looks much better :) It does look like a toy, though, like a Fisher-Price Kitchen for Kids: Movie Theater Addition.

Looks like a playhouse. I saw the premiere of Clash of the Titans in 3D.. but not in Hollywood.^^
