Florida Racoon

This little critter was hiding in some bushes at the Florida Museum of Natural History, located on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville. He offered me a bit of his apple, but I declined as I'd already had breakfast.

Cute but devious!

He is a cutie! Raccoons come into my back yard all the time and sometimes even climb up and drink from my birdbath. And no, I try not to watch Jeb or any other Bush if I can avoid it. I had to live in the same town as that man for eight years. Glad he is gone and glad to hear Colbert shut him up!
P.S. Don't get me started on that lunatic crook that is occupying the governor's mansion right now. Ugh!

Sort of cute, as long as he's not rumbling through your rubbish and making a mess in your lawn!

We had 3 of those rascals on our deck last night before the rain. Ha! Better than 3 skunks...

He's a nice one - they usually aren't good about sharing! ;-)

So dang cute! I know some people hate them, but how could they? ( but I'd decline to share the apple too ;)

They are so cute but can also be so destructive.

Very cute. Are you SURE the critter offered you a bite of the apple?
