Way too early. Not until end of November, as far as I'm concerned.
Here the only shops that really start on it are the greeting cards shops. Everyone else is all Hallowe'en until the 31st, but come November 1st, Christmas decorations everywhere, and I Saw Mommy Kissing Mrs. Claus on the speakers constantly.
I like it! What people tend to forget is that Christmas is the busiest and most profitable time of year for retailers. I used to work in retail and did for over 17 years and I know this to be true from my experience. Dollar stores are already gearing up for not just Halloween but Christmas as well. The end of September to October is when many retailers prepare for Christmas, as they make more sales and many people like to shop earlier to avoid the rush and get the best selection. :)
I'd be screaming a big "Oh, N-o-o-o-o-o!" except that I'm already starting to make my Christmas cards. But since those are hand made and take a while it's none to soon for that. The decorations, though? No, thanks. Too soon!

NOOOOOOOO!
I'm with jack! Noooo! Not until at least after Halloween.
It is way too early for this! That being said, I wouldn't mind having one or two, or maybe all of those pretty red cardinals though.

I'm definitely not ready for this, Lowell!!
I was at the mall on Thursday and noticed they were getting ready to set up the Christmas land. I really do find it so annoying.
Funny, but this is really a bit early...
Lowell !!!
I know you are far ahead, but so far... :))
The pics are very nice, show them in a few month again...
:-)

Noooooooo!
It is not even an attractive display. Over the top!
Even Germany has joined the bandwagon. I've seen xmas decorations and specialty foods out already. Too much, too soon!
I have to accept it in December and that is more than enough for me!
Lovely Christmas items, but why so early? I’ve heard Americans’ Christmas shopping starts after Thanksgiving is over.
