Kitty On Table
This is a photo of a painting. I found the painting in Ocala. Thus, I'm posting it on Ocala & Central Florida Photos. It's one of those paintings that made my black heart go pitty pat very fast. Every cat lover knows what I am talking about.
I'd like to dedicate this post to my friend, William, at Ottawa Daily Photo. If you look carefully, you will note William has another blog, Speak of the Devil, in which he offers up a variety of delicious social and political commentary and in which he provides a closer look at our canine and feline friends.
William is, it seems, a Pied Piper of felines.

winderful image. So amazing
Meow! What a lovely painting, with such a delightful superior life form.
It's a wonderful painting, Lowell!
Beautiful painting -- Love the dreamy season out of the window ... and the books. Oh yes, and the beautiful kitty totally ignoring both.
I love paintings like this, Lowell! Beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing.
Books and a cat. It is an appealing image. The only problem is that I'm allergic to cats, but the picture, no problem.
Very beautiful painting!
Great image! And it also illustrates one difference between cats and dogs. Although he'd love to perch like this my 85-pound pooch wouldn't present such a balanced and serene image.
Open book, sleeping pussy cat, gentle breeze blowing the curtains.. could there posxobly be a more serene image :)
I love this painting!
I love to photograph art. Well done!

Aww…I love this Lowell!
This makes me want to move the table near the window, put a stack of books on it, then go find a cat.
I follow William on Speak of the Devil. It's delicious, all right!
This picture made me feel like acting like a cat, staying aloof (from the books this time), just relaxing in my own way.
