Biking the Greenway

Ocala has part of the Florida Greenway. It's a six-mile loop through different types of vegetation and goes from relatively flat land to a hilly plateau. Biking is one of the most popular activities you'll find on the Greenway. And recumbent bikes are becoming more numerous. This gentleman had what appeared to be a modified recumbent in that he sat more upright on the bike.

A good way to get about. I've never seen a bike like that here.

I haven't seen a bike like that before. Biking has always been a favorite activity of mine. Would be nice to have a trail like that.

He's got an interesting rig alright! That's quite a wide paved trail.

Were you on a bike? This is one of those cases where I wish someone had photographed the photographer!

It looks like a perfect place to go biking. I'm not sure about the recumbent bikes though. They don't look comfortable to me but, I've never tried one.

Gosh what a wonderful canopy of green Lowell, how wonderful to cycle or walk under the shade here, sooo pretty. I have seen a few reclining bikes like this around Perth, I don't understand them ☺☺
