Paving Target's Parking Lot

This shot was taken in the middle of the day. You can imagine what a mess this paving created. Target customers were going in circles trying to find a parking spot.

They might have considered a different locale as opposed to Target!

I guess it has to be done. I go around in circles in the Target parking lot even when its not being paved.

Compromises have to be made!

I don't suppose there's any time they could do this without creating a disruption.

What Lois said!

It must have been necessary, for Target to interrupt its own traffic flow that way.

I see what you mean, Lowell. But I suppose if they would only work in 'quiet' hours it would take a lot of more time to finish things.

Paving Lot Of Target (PLOT). It's a plot!

I don't mind the inconvenience as long as those little chunks of tar don't splash up and stick to my car.

parking is bad enough when they aren't paving...maybe the morning hours would have been better!

The smart thing would be to do the work at night!

I bet they were! That's quite a disruption for the middle of the day. I noticed that they were paving the parking lot at my local Safeway over the weekend. I made the mistake of cutting through there to get to the bank.

Life is tough Lowell. I am freezing and you can't find a parking spot. LOL

I agree with Janis above, I hate driving on a newly tarred road for that exact reason ☺ I bet the carpark won't be out of action for too long Lowell ☺

I'm a big fan of Targets but I wouldn't be impressed if any of that gunge got on my car :).

Best if you just didn't go to Target and walked. Problem solved. Next problem... :)

Forgot to answer your question that you asked on my blog. Yes, I walk every morning unless the weather is bad then I wait for a break in the day.

Scenes like this remind me of Montreal's construction and even though I know it needs to be done, I hate the look, the noise and the dust. LOL! :)
