Woman on the dock

I thought this a rather poignant shot of a woman looking out over the water on a quiet afternoon at Lake Sumter Landing. You make up your own version of what she was thinking about.

Perhaps she's enjoying some peace and quiet away from her grandkids? Or maybe contemplating a big decision?

PS: Most of the golf courses here only allow you to ride if you're handicapped or on the older side. ;-)

Wonderful capture, Lowell!

She didn't realize you had already arrived and took her photo. She thought you were coming by boat not a bicycle. :)

It looks like she picked the perfect spot!

"It's a killer marathon but I know I can nail the swimming. If I amp up my training on the bicycle I'll bet the run will come naturally. I can start now. Sure! I can do it!"

What a great spot to sit and just do nothing for a while.

Very nice! Good pic. I think she is a little afraid someone catches her bag.

Wondering if she turned the iron off? Locked the front door? No...she's planning fish for dinner!

Your prompt about what she may be thinking is rich material for creative minds. You should have a contest! Re. your comment on my post today, I provided a link: click on my comment about stopping to chat with F. Scott.

Hopefully she was thinking about something more exciting than what to make for dinner 😊 Nice moment captured here Lowell.

If it were me, I'd be thinking about how good my legs felt sitting down after the long walk out there.

The 18yr-old inside me wants to jump in that blue water and swim away.
Maybe?

She was thinking about her dinner.
