So far as I can tell, this is a corn snake and is not poisonous. They are quite plentiful in central Florida. This one was hanging around a duck enclosure.
The Corn Snake was probably hoping to find a duck egg, or perhaps a small duckling? Hope it is not tangled in that wire fence. Non-poisonious snakes do good in the environment controlling rodent and insect populations. .
I don't think it is a corn snake. Perhaps a yellow rat snake (diandy). Nonvenomous either; however this snake's head is really ugly. The are great for keeping out rats and mice, too. Just keep your distance.

Going after the ducks? Or the duck eggs?
He is a big one!
I find snakes repulsive even if its not poisonous but I would probably take a photo just because it's there. :)
Pretty fellow! But as I'm not sure of my snake ID, I wouldn't want to pick it up. (Unless someone I trusted did it first. Any volunteers?)
I'd have some serious concerns if I were a duck.
Whether it’s poisonous or not, I get goose bumps when just think of a snake.

I would just run by the sight of this. Brrr! Hope the ducks are okay..
I wonder what was on its mind...a few eggs perhaps or a small furry creature?
Does it feed on corn or is it called so because it has a corny sense of humour?
Poisonous or not, this one is big and it scares me.
