Our Pancakes Never Waffle

A silly sign about pancakes and waffles. Kinda awful. Or not.

Silly or clever? The restaurant business is pretty tough so I suppose any trick of merchandising is used to entice customers.

Surely they could have thought up something better than that!

Now that's funny. I love Cracker Barrel!

I think there used to be Cracker Barrel restaurants here, but years ago. I don't know if there are any left.

Funny sign, a great find Lowell. I prefer waffles instead of pancakes, always have.

They were not very happy in choosing of the slogan.

I don't care for waffles or pancakes, but I do love bacon! lol

Cracker Barrel does pancakes?? Does this sign mean they'll never serve waffles?? And what about crepes? I can't handle that sort of uncertainty when it's time for breakfast, especially if I haven't had plenty of coffee.
(To answer your question, I didn't see any Cadillacs sunken into the desert where we went, though I've heard of them.)

The ubiquitous Cracker Barrel must be competing with a waffle house.

(If you ever need a word with 3 "u", I just realized ubiquitous is your go-to word).

You have an good eyd to find like this. Interesting phrase, but to be honest I’m puzzled. I wonder whether “waffle” is a noun as a square cake or a verb.
