Kathleen

We have found the people working at this small post office across from the Silver Springs Park on the east side of Ocala to be very friendly and helpful.

Kathleen always has a smile and a greeting and goes out of her way to ensure you are satisfied that your mail is properly on its way.

Kathleen has worked for the U.S. Postal Service for a number of years, but she confided to me yesterday that she is hoping to retire this summer.

Jacob: You could have slipped this last photo in on Skywatch Friday. Sure brings in the traffic. People love a sliver of sky with their snaps! So nice to feature Kathleen!

A portrait! That's a nice idea. Always interesting to meet the locals!

Neither snow nor rain nor heat... I like the human touch in this photo and the red brick office under the trees is so different from our grey and drab buildings.
Very good idea and nice images.

Isn't she too young to retire?

Bravo for paying tribute to Kathleen. Here in France people spend their time saying bad things about "employés de la poste" because they are "fonctionnaires" (public servants).
