Stewart at Panera Bread

Stewart has been working at the original Panera Bread in Ocala for about three months. He likes his job and enjoys meeting customers. We found that he smiled easily and seemed to work well with people. Stewart is attending Central Florida Community College at night and hopes to obtain a degree in psychology.

At the time of this photograph, he was busy taking an order from a customer.

portrait sympathique, et puis il pose avec plaisir, et avec un petit sourire.

sympathetic portrait, and then he poses with pleasure, and with a little smile.

Looks just like our Panera here! Minus Stewart, who looks like a stalwart young man.

We have one here too! I used to eat there alot, but I got a slight case of food poisoning after eating a sandwich there last summer and haven't been able to go back. I do love their desserts though!

An enterprising young man .. surely waiting on customers is a good way to get to know human nature ...

I can see how his studies will help him in dealing with the public.

It fits perfectly with May 1 celebrations around the world (International Workers' Day).

I think you've made a great start on the 100 Strangers, Jacob. Have you ever thought of making it official?

Lowell said...

@ PJ - No, I don't even know what it is...I'm assuming it has to do with photographing 100 strange people...I mean, strangers to me?
