Easter Bunny

At the local mall, this Easter Bunny held young children on his lap while an associate took photos which the associate then sold to the parents of the young children. But there were times when no children were ready to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap. This is one of those times and the Easter Bunny is lonely and forlorn.

Je ne connaissais pas ce lapin de Pâques. Le pauvre a l'air bien triste

You should've sat down next to him and kept him company!

Good idea for a photo. You are right with your post, maybe next year the Easter Bunny will be more busy...

Very colorful photo.
I like that bunny.

I'm sure he wasn't lonely for long!

I'm not sure the local mall still has a Bunny. If they do, they sure don't promote it much. I wonder if Santa and E. B. are the same guy (gal)?

Poor lonely bunny....

Is it just me or is the dressed up full size E. bunny a little scarrrry? Oh well, maybe not from this distance. Happy Easter!

Happy Easter. And about the bees, I am generally afraid of them and always get stung so I do not linger long around them.

Happy Easter Jacob and Lois.

They say to "fill the frame," but you've just proven that maxims like that are just guidelines. What I mean is I like how you included the trellis and the flowers to make an even better photo than if you blindly followed some rule. Good eye!

I wonder how much the mall got for each photo sold?

@ Abe...I have no idea. The mall was not very crowded...in fact, it was mostly empty...sad state of affairs.

I'm with Hilda here.

Well, Jacob. You could have sat on his lap and had YOUR picture taken. ;-)

@ EG TG - I'd have been arrested!

We did that one year with our daughter. Ever since, she likes to inform everyone that she knows the Easter Bunny has white fur.

Body language says everything, not even those big bright eyes can hide the deflated person inside.

I just did a post and it didn't show up. I can't remember if you have comment moderation.

He does look a tad forlorn! Maybe he was resting up for Easter!

LOL
Funny picture!

No! why lonely?! it's just a respite. Please tell me that in a minute he was not alone and a lot of cheerful kids surrounded him again!

Lowell said...

@ Irina - Well, no...It was a bit of a respite and there were a few kids, but not many...the recession has taken its toll on the malls...

I check your blog because I grew up in Ocala and it's fun to see familiar (and new!) sites. Can you believe this is the same bunny in my pictures from the Paddock mall two decades ago??

Lowell said...

@ The Working Girl - Welcome! It's nice to hear from an Ocalan...but if that's the same bunny that costume must be reeking! LOL.
