Lois Anne on the run

As I've mentioned before, we have a six-mile loop of the Florida Greenway just 4 miles from our home. Lois Anne often runs on this beautiful stretch of paved road (no cars!) which winds through varying types of scenery, including woods and hills.

Looks like a great place to run if running is your hobby, of course. :-)

It looks sunny and warm in FL already. It's still cool and windy here.

Great scenery indeed and such a convenient path. Do you take photos, walk or run?

It's so pretty I'd be tempted to walk...with my camera, of course. I wouldn't want to miss anything. ;-)

Great! 6 miles, quite a good distance yet. I too run, along the sea as often as possible, but on my loop, I often have to share the road with cars...
Thank you, Jacob, for all your visits and precious comments on Arradon DP.

Nice shot! Looks very freshly and energetic! Have a wish to take my running shoes right now and go in for sport.

Wonderful place for jogging!

@ Vogon Poet - I ride along on a bicycle, stopping to take photos when the opportunity presents itself. I can't keep up with her. She still holds the Florida state record for the 5K in her age group.

Heck, I can't even walk fast!

@ Ming - 91 degrees today...which is too warm...but it's been fairly cool spring which is nice...and the temps in the evening go down to the 50s so that's not bad. And in Ocala, the humidity is lower than South Florida.

If it's too bad we just hop in the pool.

Great place to run or bike:)

So, Lois Anne, do you run 4 miles to the loop, run the 6 miles of the loop and then run the 4 miles back home for a grand total of 14 miles? Or is that too far for Jacob on his bike? :)

For once, I see a place that would actually have me running too!

Wow! No cars? That is such a beautiful stretch. I wouldn't mind walking and taking it all in - no running though :)

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow!

Good for her. I used to be a runner, but I don't run much any more, because of my fibromyalgia. I don't look like that any more either.

Nice capture!

Looks like a beautiful place for a run!! Reminds me I need to get back to it since ski season is over.

Are you running behind with the camera??!!!

@ Marie-Noyale - I wish! I couldn't keep up with her for half a block!

I ride along on a bike...get ahead of her, stop and when she comes by, snap a photo!
