Ani's Shabby Shak is located in downtown Ocala. It appears to be an interesting place, and actually, the clothes don't seem all that shabby. Probably cheaper than Saks 5th Avenue, too.
Someone else trying to make their mark and hopefully share in some of the business. I wish them all the luck in the world. It takes guts (and a little luck).
superbe couleur, et j'aime les peintures sur les vitrines, c'est encore l'été ;o) beautiful color, and I like the paintings on the windows, it's still summer ;o)
We have a place like this called Repeat Street. I am always amazed at how they take such a wide variety of clothing from different sources and make such nice displays. This one looks really nice too. Must be some creative folks working there!
It's a great window mural....and the truth is I am having a hard time distinguishing which is the mural and which is the cool border effect. They marry together very well. Looks like a store you would see in uptown here in Minneapolis. Very Nice.
running a small business is a tough gig, To compete with the big stores is a hurdle. Hope she has a decent location and taken a few small business classes otherwise the fun disappears with the money,
My cousin was the owner of that store , until she moved away from ocala. That store isn't there anymore. She still has some of the stuff from her store.

Nice photo op, lots of color and a nice window. I'll do the Jacob this time: what is 'Off The Wall Murals, D + M'?
Nice shot of the shop, and I guess I could have spent some time and perhaps money there..... ;-)
Good luck to Ani. If I were in Ocala, I would buy the blue dress on the right-hand side :-)
Off the wall murals as well?
Nice window.
Adorable, I would like to try the blue one!
Léia ;)
Yje clothes are colourful and cute. I bet Ani's business is good.
And, you don't have to pay those ridiculous prices for snob appeal.

I wish her luck too, small business is not for the faint hearted

Good luck to them. The dresses are cute and very colorful. Love the art work. MB
Colorful and youthful .. odd for an area populated by retirees
OH yeah…what is her label worth next to Saks Fifth Avenue?
What a cute little shop and I love the name!
LOVE the blue dress on the end! Looks like a cool place!
@ Vogon Poet - Sorry, we didn't go inside. I have no clue re: the murals. If we're downtown soon, I'll go in and check!
Now that's some fancy decorating!

I'll bet the prices aren't shabby, though as you say, maybe cheaper than Saks.
@ Richard - Thanks very much for the link...this gentleman is an incredible photographer and I've added him to my list of photographers on this site.
Much appreciated. I also really love your new header!
Shabby CHIC! Love it! Reminds me of my 9/10 post. :-)
@ Dan - That's exactly why I did the border that way! I guess it worked! Thanks!

The photo is most atractive, too!
