Everything looks so neat and orderly! Sweet mother and child too. Love the white, black and green combination.

This is small, eh???
I'll take the barn, you can have the rest. I wonder how many acres. It is very lovely. MB

And look, there's a small horse on the small horse farm.

Attached to the house above the barn, is that a screened in swimming pool?

From the title, I thought this would be a farm for small horses.

what a place!!!

@ Antjas - Very funny! And yes, that is a screened swimming pool...

Actually, that house does not belong to this farm for small horses (heh, heh). That's a separate property which looks closer because the long lens compressed things.

You're beginning to convince me that it really is the horse capital of the world. I never would have guessed.

A BEAUTIFUL horse farm is the term you're looking for! Funny, I took some pictures of horses today in the dunes on the Atlantic! LOved yesterday's post! ;-) Won't be back for another few days...

This horse farm looks very similar to many right her in Ontario. I honestly am surprised to see so much green grass in Florida this time of year. But hey! What do I know. ;-)

So, is the farm small too? or just that little horse!? ha Very beautiful.

Wow I love the horse pictures you capture from around there. They are amazing animals and second only to dogs for me. I can see why you keep calling Ocala the horse capital of the world. Gorgeous !!!

Soothing shot, Jacob. BTW, did you know that horses can be allergic to fellow horses? Yesterday I met a little pony that has allergic asthma to horse allergens. Poor thing! But luckily there are medications specifically designed to treat this.

Lowell said...

@ Buenos Aires - No, I did not know that. How terrible, to be allergic to yourself!

Fortunately it was not allergic to itself. Otherwise the poor animal had been euthanized. The pony is allergic to his barn mates. It's not less tragic, but the pony has to live in solitude in a separate barn.
