aren't those trees fascinating - we've got those & I've yet to take a photo or look them up. Glad you did. I'll have to check Leif's guess.

Love it--Leif. LOL

Very pretty though--any color is amazing and I like the green too. MB

This is a beauty! Looks like the imagination of an artist beautifully portrayed on a canvas!

You have to worry about the "snow birds", but you definitely don't have to worry about "leaf peepers."

@ Safe Leif - You are one big Swedish dingleberry!

@ All - This tree grows about a mile from our house...we've got three of these trees in our yard. I think they're a weed. Everything grows into a tree here. Ours are very tall and spindly and growing like crazy. I'm going to cut 'em down, I think. The worst of it is they sprout everywhere. We pull up hundreds of them every summer!

I have no idea what they are called.

But they're the only tree that really has any color at this time of year. The water oaks lose their leaves to some extent but don't change color.

It looks like a Tree of Heaven to me...but then again, not quite. Very pretty, in any case.

I like it when the autumn colours are in contrast with the still-green leaves. Very pretty.

Wow, like a painting. Terrific colors! I didn't know there are seasons in Florida.

@ Buenos Aires - The further north you go in Florida the more likely you are to get a bit of a seasonal change. In our area, this is one of the few trees that actually change colors.
