You will find this interesting display just a few blocks from our home. The same yard also contains other unique artifacts and sculptures. I don't know why.
We will be out of town for a few days. I may not be able to post or comment during that time, but we shall return and resume!

wow~ i think i need something like this for my front yard! this looks cool!
I like that, big toys for big boys.
It is rather strange... now I think we need one of the inside :)
I like its individuality. It certainly better than some thing fake from the garden center at Walmart
I don't know---is this good or bad? MB
superbe, enfant j'aurais adore venir jouer avec
Quite original and a very good catch. If you find some kind of explanation for these arrtifacts please post it.
Bon voyage !
That's a very sweet display. Hope you have a good time, wherever you roam.
It's interesting! I like the red pump. It reminds me of when I was little and my grandmother's pump. I remember having to prime it before getting it to actually pump water.
I think everyone needs a water-wheel powered miniature log cabin in their back yard. In fact, I'd move it to the street and with the right water power maybe your neighbor's planning to go off the electrical "grid." Maybe you could devise a way to pump pool water through it. Yep, that's the ticket.
I hope your have a great Thanksgiving. Travel safe!!
I like random eclectic displays
Very cool yard piece. Rathe unique I must admit for being on the lawn..... but thats what's great about the lawn..... to each their own.
Looks like your neighbour was feeling creative. ;-)
Have a wonderful time away.
You'd probably have to get permission from our mayor to put something like this in your yard! Everything here has to be brick. And your shed has to have the same type of facade as your house. :S
We will be out of town for a few days
Have safe travels.
It looks like it should be in the mountains somewhere. I like it. Happy Thanksgiving and have a nice trip.
tres mignon,on dirait une cabane de conte ;O)
bonne soiree
I love the entire vignette, from the Spanish moss to the red water pump.
Have a Happy Happy Safe & Bountiful Thanksgiving!
I like the wheel on the side of the mini cabin, but not sure bout the rest, looks more like something that should be on the farm.
A reminder of pioneer days, no doubt. Nostalgia?
Well it could be worse ..
Have a wonderful holiday, travel safe!
Very interesting and kind of cute! Have a great and safe holiday!
Looks like our cabin! Have a safe trip. For LA: Enjoy your "slow down" time.

*** ahhh I liked this garden, I think the owners have lots of imagination and free time! LOT
I have an award for you, please claim it on my blog. Thanks.^^
It's cute! Hope you are somewhere fun and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
In my opinion, the major atraction is the wonderful spanish moss!
It looks like a settled neighborhood where people have invested in their surroundings. Have a lovely break, see you when you get back.
Fantastic and interesting shot Jacob !! I loved this post..
Ahhh feeling that pioneer spirit in Ocala! :)
And Jacob, why does that horse in your header have my initial and birth year branded on his rump????????
V
I guess they like to look at it, and so do I. Agreed. Better than something lame from Walmart. And look a the Spanish moss. So Southern! It's lovely.
@ V - If that is true, I find it a hilarious coincidence. Other than saying that, I wouldn't touch your comment with the proverbial 10-foot pole!
The scale of the cabin and the pump and all is so perfect, it makes the tree look enormous!

A mill without water? Your neighbor collects interesting stuff.
I don't know when you'll be back, but…
Wishing you, Lois Anne and your entire family a blessed and happy Thanksgiving, Jacob!
Do you have time to stop by St. Pete for a short visit? Any good news? GG-Grandpa?
