Every neighborhood has a crackpot - we have one next door!

I presume that you don't have freezing and ice to cause cracks. But if this is the only crackpot in the neighborhood, consider yourself lucky.

The crack just adds to the charm and beauty of the container plant.

I wonder how much longer it'll hold on.

I laughed when I finally saw the photo after it loaded...I was imagining something else entirely. I have a couple of crackpots on my terrace....and a few in our apartment building....

That's a nice picture.

Lovely shot! I agree with Paula, the crack really adds to the scene.

Beautiful photo of a picturesque (and inoffensive) crackpot. It looks like a Tuscan coppo, or at least the same kind of vase...

Haha. I thought it was going to be a self-portrait!

Took me a bit to find the crack, guess I was looking for a plumber.

Lovely photo of a charming scene. Running across a scene like this just makes my day. Thank you.

Luckily my neighborhood doesn't have any of these!

A neighbor has two with the same crack, at their walkway. Exact same crack design. I want to turn one around each time I pass so it's not so obvious.

I don't know what they're called, but the plant grows like crazy in flower beds and needs constant cutting back. Looks great in the pot and would make a britiful painting. .

Jacob, you will have to remember to show us the explosed pot. Yes?

I like old clay pots even when cracked.

Hahaha. Too bad the pot is cracked though. I like it's shape and neutral colour.

Lowell said...

@ EG - I think these pots are made that way...somehow people think a cracked pot has more character than whole pot. I'd like a whole lot of cracked pots!

Haha good one, Jacob!

Lowell said...

@ Safe Leif - That's funny. Your neighbor said the same thing! Heh. Heh.

I thought I was the neighborhood crackpot! However, I really like this one.
