This is a tale of two totem poles that have relatively recently found their way onto the Dock at Cedar Key. No one knows where they came from or what they're doing here or what they want. They have, however, informed us of their names and demand to be addressed in the proper manner: Mr. Totem Pole with Hanging Light, and Mr. Totem Pole with Head Light.
I prefer the first one!
I especially love the first one, Lowell. Great captures! :)
Sorry, Messrs. Totem Pole, but you both look like overgrown tiki lamps to me.
How interesting, beautiful pictures.
Not how the Native Americans envisaged them being used I imagine!
Mr Totem Pole with hanging light looks a little grrrrrrrrrr! Why, who, how and where did they come from?
Kind or scary looking, methinks!
Not the traditional colours for totem poles, Lowell!
A new use for totem poles, I guess... :-)
Gorgeous, but a bit scary!
Thanks for shining a 'light' on this subject.
those are a couple of angry looking totem poles.
Now how did I miss these!!!! I love them!!! Of course, I might not want to run into them late at night!!!
Interesting. Wonder about their history though.
The first one is my preferred!
Always important to get the names right )). Funny nobody knows why they are there.
Greetings from France...
