We see lots of egrets around here in the summer, but seldom are able to get close to them. Beautiful picture.
Thank you for the song lyrics. I remember that song, but have not heard it in many decades.

GREAT egret! Wonderful shot. This guy looks like he's ready to strike at any second, though. I hope you stayed out of striking range.
