Mercedes Convertible ... Ouch!

We were walking in downtown Ocala and I noticed this older, but very nice, Mercedes convertible parked in a parking lot.  I took a photo of it as I know that a number of photobloggers are into old cars and such.

On our way back to where we had parked, we passed this older, but very nice, Mercedes convertible again.  I took another photo but for a different reason.  See the piece of yellow paper under the windshield wiper?

That's a parking ticket.  Ouch!

I like the car a lot...the ticket, not so much.

So no matter how old and cool the car no one's immune to parking tickets, I see.

The car owner didn't come back to plug the meter apparently. Looks like a cool ride.

Haha! Well spotted Lowell 😊 The number plate is unusual, wonder if it's a government car!

How could the policeman identify the car?
Is that plate readable ?

Oooopsie! Even Mercedes owners have to feed the meter!

So what did he do wrong? It looks like it's parked perfectly.

I don't see a meter and none of the cars in the background seem to have moved. I wonder if they all got tickets.

They must have a number on the rear plate. As for the ticket, could be a special ticket for the Policeman's Ball.

That always makes me so mad when that happens!

Probably the owner can afford to pay it.

I have had my share of parking tickets,,,, but in my defense... there was a sale in the shop and I just had to get to it before someone else scooped up all the good buys!
lolololol!
