Dear Lowell - Nice capture of ducks in a group with an empty boat as a spice. I think you must be organized but regarding these ducks, maybe one or two might be hiding in the boat.
I have really enjoyed reading the comments here. Some are gems.
You asked about the meaning of the expression, 'sent/send to Coventry'. It basically means to be given the 'silent treatment'. The origins of the expression 'may' date back to the 1600's. No one really knows. I posted a link on my blog comment after yours.

One more duck and they can unleash Operation World Duckination.
It's always good to have your ducks in a row even if it doesn't quite look like a row. :)
I am not so sure about these ducks. Looks like a gang of ducks out to dominate the water.
Cute picture! They seem to be having a meeting of some sort. Probably trying to figure out why that boat is out there all by itself.
You are kidding... right? LOL
I'm no expert but they look like coots to me. I will refrain from any play on words that may associate you, coots, age, or anything of that ilk.

That's a large group. I wonder where they were heading..
Didn't know you were so fond of ducks! ;-)
My ducks are hardly ever in a row Lowell 😀😀
A scattered row. I think that is ok

Good job Lowell. Getting ducks in a row is no easy task.
Good for you!
