Caps Galore

You can buy caps like these in mall kiosks but the biggest and best selection will be found at a local flea market which is open each week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Obviously, you can advertise your favorite military service, your favorite TV show, your religious beliefs and more. One would think that in this very conservative part of the country one would find lots of Trump's red caps  about making some country great again, but I can't remember ever seeing anyone wearing such a cap.

I usually wear a golf cap but my favorite cap is a U.S. Navy cap I bought at this flea market.

I can see a bunch of people wearing "the armored division" hat riding down main street with their golf carts. What an image that would be. :)

I wear baseball hats for protection from the sun, but won't go out of my way for them. I've got five or six of them, mostly understated.

I don't get the mentality that figures buying a hat that says FBI or CIA or SWAT is a good thing. Unless you're a Fed or a cop, what's the point? And Langley certainly doesn't advertise their membership.

I own a few caps, but whenever I look myself in a mirror wearing one, I think I look like a jerk and immediately take it off!

The cap I wear says Habitat For Humanity on it. That has become my church.

I know that some ladies do wear them, but I never wear caps. What a selection, Lowell!

For about 3 years I have been looking fro a Navy Seal hat. So far no luck.

Maybe that last sentence means even conservatives are coming to their senses ... days too late.

Your caps seem pretty reasonably priced (decent ones can range about $20 around here, or in some of the places we've visited). But I don't see a one I'd want to park on hubby's head. You know, something like "a man's place is in his boat" or something like that. Or maybe "Professional Arm Candy."

I wonder why a few of them are wrapped in plastic. Are they special or expensive ones?

Hopefully people are thinking twice about wearing 'those' caps now, when something's good/great there's no need to go on about it 😀

If I wore a cap, I'd have "hat" hair the rest of the day. I'm glad you aren't seeing any of those red caps, the urge to smack some stranger gets pretty strong when I see one.

I regularly wear one advertising Pea Island NWR in North Carolina. Don't know what I'll do when it finally wears out. Go back and get another one?

Hi Lowell, me again. About your question regarding the name of my blog: "opvallend" means 'standing out, attracting attention', and "onopvallend" means the opposite, so not attracting attention. What I had in mind is that I try to photograph anything, even the things that are left unnoticed. Hope this makes sense?

I often plop one on if there is a light rain and I don't want to carry an umbrella. It has a subtle company name on it.
Garbage bins are one of my pet peeves - they are so ugly and they are everywhere!
