I'm not sure what year Chevy this is but it's been lovingly restored. My 4th car was a 1955 Chevy Bel Air - a four-door hardtop. It took us from Minneapolis to Phoenix and back several times. The only problem I remember is the muffler blew out on Route 66 in Oklahoma.

Those go go golf carts you see are no match for the red beauty. Very nice car indeed.
Well done. Another classic Lowell.
Classy car. I couldn't have even afforded the tires.
That is a beauty.
Nice classic. I'll take it.

I would guess mid 1960s! My best friend had one and we cruised all over town in it! A great car!
What a beauty!
Your Route 66 trip is the memorable sort. The ones where everything goes right? Less so!
A treasure!
Uma bela máquina.
Um abraço e bom Domingo.

I believe this is a 1971 Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS (Super Sport) that came originally with a 350 V-8 motor producing about 270 HP. By 1971 government restrictions and insurance costs had eliminated the LS6 big block 454 V-8 producing about 450 HP that was available in earlier years. These are desirable cars that now sell in the range of $35,000 to $45,000 and a few concourse level cars asking as much as $80,000. They are pretty cars designed to be fast in a straight line, but challenged to turn or stop. It would be a fun cruiser car.
Oh my, that is very nice!
It's a beauty!
A classy and shiny car, love it !
I'll accept a ride in any convertible, classic or not.
