Upscale Torn & Ragged Clothing

It is probably best that I do not comment on the above but leave the comments to my insightful, incisive and extremely intelligent readers.

But I will say that you can pay good money for these items in upscale stores right here in Ocala.

Is this a great country or what?

Crazy! I have old wrecked jeans that I use for working around dirty chores etc. I should pull them out!

When I was a kid (40's - 50's) if I had rip in my pants my mother would sew a patch over it.

Interesting fashion choices that I would have to pass on. I have pictures from a mall far, far away on my blog today. Not surprisingly, it looks no different from the ones here.

Glad to hear you made it through the storm ok. You are brave to drive around. I've been staying off the roads.

It's crazy what people will wear. Holy pants are for church, that would get everyone talking, you think. :)

Every generation wears things that they think look really cool- and which looks ridiculous to everyone else.

It's much more a systemic problem in the fashion industry, which trots out lifeless eyed models on runways wearing crap no one will ever wear- and whose designers believe they are the centerpiece of the universe and not the butt of a joke.

Is it obvious I won't be invited to a fashion soiree?

So strange even for someone like me who thoroughly enjoys legitimately worn clothes. These are just too new.

I do wear jeans, the stretch kind; however, I cannot stand the "latest fashions" with the torn holes and designs in them, they are just not my cup of tea. I can't say I like anything or any of the outfits in your photos, Lowell. But I guess I am old fashioned. I mean, I do like "stylish", but tasteful and regal, not the type of clothes here. :)

I have never understood the urge to buy clothes that are already worn out and ripped. I just as soon wear out my own clothes.

Fashion insight: I can get a pair of nicely worn jeans at Goodwill for a buck if I play my cards right. But I grew up embarrassed at holes in my clothes, often because they were handed down from my big brother. I guess privilege needs to have a taste of how the other half lives.
SO glad to hear that you weathered the storm with minimal damage! Stress? Boy, I can barely imagine it. We experienced a storm with 100 mph. gusts some years ago in California. Lost parts of our roof, a fence, tree, and plenty of sleep. It taught me great respect for anyone who lives through a hurricane.

I guess we're from a totally different generation.

I don't understand why this style is making a comeback...

Always makes me smile when I see someone walking towards me wearing denims that are ripped to threads Lowell, you would think they could do that themselves and save the money 😀😀

is this more expensive with the holes?
I wonder if when there is left only the hole, we still have to pay

Rare fashions. There are also around here. Lowell, and the ones we do not like, it's hard to find denim clothes, no cracks.
Thank you very much for your visits and comments.
Good wednesday.
Un abrazo.

This is one of those fashion trends that boggles my mind. I just keep thinking, my mother would not believe her eyes.
